National Asset Management Limited (NAMAL) is the pioneer Unit Trust management company in Sri Lanka established in 1991 with 19 years of experience and a successful track record of investing in Sri Lankan equity and fixed income markets. NAMAL launched the first Unit Trust to be licensed in Sri Lanka - National Equity Fund - and the first listed Unit Trust -NAMAL Acuity Value Fund.
NAMAL operates eight Unit Trusts and offers private portfolio management for institutional investors. NAMAL has a highly experienced and professional management team with widespread experience in domestic and international capital markets. NAMAL is a subsidiary of Union Bank PLC and its shareholders include DFCC Bank and Ennid Capital (Pvt) Limited."

NAMAL launches High Yield Fund
The NAMAL High Yield Fund is an open ended Unit Trust managed by National Asset Management. The Fund will invest in short term commercial paper, trust certificates and corporate debt to obtain significant yield enhancement at low to moderate levels of risk. NAMAL will diversify the portfolio across asset classes, issuers and maturity profiles and conduct detailed evaluation of the financial strength of issuers.

NAMAL LAUNCHES IPO FUND
National Asset Management Ltd (NAMAL), the pioneer Unit Trust Management Company in Sri Lanka announced the launch of the NAMAL IPO Fund. The Fund has been launched to capture potential upside on mispriced IPOs (initial public offerings) as well as to benefit from the preferential allocation of 10% of the offered shares to the Unit Trust Investor Category. The fund will invest at the IPO offering stage and in post-IPO securities for a period of one year.
